Daring Bit assembly (DBA)
DBA develops mission-critical software for ambitious companies and when I first started working with their team on the development for the B Charitable App, they had a strong mission and skill set, but a brand that fell flat with the industries that they were targeting for client work. We set out to create a brand identity that captured the niche interests of the founders and was scalable as they continued to push into the tech space and establish themselves as the highly qualified and competitive team that they are.
In the initial discover process with the founding team, it was clear that these guys had been online since early internet days when viral videos existed on Ebaums World, xkcd illustrations were memes before memes existed and everyone was watching the same 10 viral youtube videos. We wanted to capture that playful digital experience in a way that displayed their professionalism, but didn’t abandon their personalities.
